Why is HOPE for Christmas at the heart of who Brungot Farms is?

It's quite simple, Christmas of 1986, the purchase of a Christmas tree, was chosen by Aaron's mother over gifts and even food. She bought this tree with the very limited money she saved for Christmas. She had hoped that the gifts and food would be taken care of by other organizations in her time of need. But she knew nobody would provide the Christmas tree. The process of decorating that tree, in the window above the street, with love and care was very therapeutic for us as a family. Making strings of popcorn for Garland, and handmade ornaments out of construction paper, things that are so simple, yet powerful in spreading the Christmas spirit.

They could look at that tree every day, and it would bring a smile, a feeling of peace, and hope for a better life and future. We were thankful for the little things, and all the help we had received to turn their lives around from the troubled times.

That's the meaning of our Giving trees, that's the power of what you're helping us give to all these families every time we gift one!

Together this holiday season, we not only give thanks but we will change lives.

We know the demands for help are everywhere, and you can't help everyone. At Brungot Farms we are happy to help. When you give the gift of a Christmas tree or wreath, you’re giving the gift of hope, a gift of peace, and a gift of love.

Imagine how the memory of this gift will live on for lifetimes to come. Every time someone smells the scent of a Fraser Christmas tree or wreath, they are taken back to the memory of this gift. It's life-changing, and you have the opportunity to change those lives, and the lives of so many more.

Giving Back with Brungot Farms HOPE for Christmas Program

At Brungot Farms we are building our business around giving back to the community in meaningful ways. Our locations & fundraisers are partnered with nonprofits right here in your community. With your purchase, you’re not just helping yourself, you’re giving the gift of hope, love, and support to important causes.

How can you get involved?

There are ways to give, even if you’re not nearby. Here are the three main programs of the Brungot Farms HOPE for Christmas Program. This year we are working to raise $14,000 to provide Trees & Wreaths for 188 families in central Texas.

Every year we raise funds for families in need of a pick me up with three things:

Giving Trees

There are many programs out there that provide toys and meal support, but there are not many that provide families without a Christmas tree. By purchasing a Giving Tree - you pay for someone’s live Christmas tree to share with their family. If you can’t buy a whole tree, you can give towards purchasing a tree for someone in need! We are now in our 6th year of building this program and we plan to take our impact in the community to even more trees.

This year, we have partnered with iHeartMedia, Granger Smith, & Living spaces to take Giving trees to a whole new level! On December 4th, 2019, Living Spaces will host a concert with Local Country music star Granger Smith, and we will distribute 101 Christmas Trees to Military members through Operation Gift A Tree! The best part about this is that we already have support to repeat & Grow this event for 2020. If you would like to contribute directly to that program, CLICK HERE.

HOPE Wreaths

When you buy a wreath a percentage of the proceeds will go towards funding our HOPE wreaths which we place in the homes at the Ronald McDonald House, Lifeworks Austin, and other homes in need.

Sometimes families don’t have the space for a Christmas tree, but a wreath on the wall or back of a door works just fine. We provide a wreath to someone in need whether it be families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, youth experiencing homelessness at Lifeworks Austin, or other homes in need of some Christmas joy.

Magical Evening with Santa

Every year in homes across the world, while children are fast asleep, the magic of Santa happens. That is, of course, unless you join us at Brungot Farms for the one night that Santa’s magic comes to life right before your family’s eyes. For one night only, Santa will make a special trip from the North Pole to help Brungot Farms raise awareness and funds for HOPE for Christmas.

A Magical Evening with Santa is our biggest fundraiser for HOPE for Christmas! Last year we were able to provide for 70 more families than we had for our goal. Join us for this fun evening, where half the fun is eating your work!

Meet Our Partners

Lifeworks

In Lifeworks housing, we deliver Christmas trees and wreaths to the youth experiencing homelessness in Central Texas.

Ronald McDonald House

Beyond the purchase of these trees and wreaths, our HOPE campaign means that for every wreath purchased we donate a wreath to the Ronald McDonald House. We love doing this - because these families can not always have Christmas trees, but we can gift them some Christmas tree with a freshly made homemade wreath.

iHeart Radio Event

Last year, we partnered with iHeartMedia, Granger Smith, & Living spaces to take Giving trees to a whole new level! On December 4th, 2019, Living Spaces hosted a concert with Local Country music star Granger Smith, and we distributed 106 Christmas Trees to Military & Veteran Families through Operation Gift A Tree! The best part about this is that we already have support to repeat & Grow this event for 2020. Stay tuned for more information! If you would like to contribute directly to that program, CLICK HERE.

School Fundraisers

Vista Ridge and Keller High School sell wreaths or Christmas trees each year to fund their trips to the Macy’s Day Parade. We love supporting these local schools and their musical initiatives.

Always Giving Back with our Evening with Santa

Our annual Evening with Santa is an affordable event for families in Central Texas. This event is important to us because it fosters community and Christmas cheer among more than just our customers. We are proud to keep the pricing affordable and allow families to enjoy the evening
